At the beginning of her career, Verena found it challenging to balance work and personal life. She worked tirelessly, struggled with setting boundaries, and felt indispensable. However, becoming a mother forced her to reconcile these worlds gradually. She started to leave her phone behind and focused on the present moment. This approach helped her realize that it wasn't necessary to react immediately and that some things are better left to time. Verena now prioritizes family time, delegates tasks, and empowers her team to make decisions. She has learned to take time for herself, whether through sports or relaxation, and disconnects from her phone to recharge. This journey of finding balance has made her a better leader.
