Empowerment starts with self-compassion. As a mother of a special needs child, I’ve learned the importance of balancing care and wish for my child and the vision I want to bring to fruition, for myself. Courage is vital — by leading with openness and adjusting to challenges, one can set a powerful example. Each journey, though unique, demonstrates that difficulties can be surmounted. Remember, your power extends beyond the walls of your home and beyond your own skin, we can undo, redo, unlearn and relearn, inspiring growth and leadership in all areas of our life.
