MARYNA ON NAVIGATING CHALLENGES AND EMBRACING RESILIENCE
Maryna's career faced its most significant challenge during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Forced to leave her home with only a suitcase, she found herself acutely aware of the needs of those around her. This difficult period revealed her leadership skills as she focused on teaching entrepreneurship to Ukrainian women abroad. The experience taught her that resilience can be cultivated, a lesson she embodies as she continues to work under the stress of ongoing Russian attacks. Maryna's commitment to her ultimate goal—working for the future of Ukraine—keeps her motivated and inspires her to tackle any challenge head-on.
MARYNA ON SUPPORTING WOMEN IN BUSINESS THROUGH U&WE HUB
Maryna's passion for supporting women entrepreneurs is evident in her creation of the U&We Hub (Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs Hub). Since its inception, the project has grown rapidly, now encompassing five cities in Ukraine. The hubs offer training and support for women entrepreneurs, many of whom are internally displaced persons (IDPs). These hubs have not only provided women with the tools to start and grow their businesses but have also led to positive social impacts such as improved mental health, better childcare facilities, and enhanced community resilience. Maryna's vision extends beyond Ukraine as she plans to open an international hub in Lithuania, aiming to teach entrepreneurship to 1 million Ukrainian women.
