MARION ON OVERCOMING CRISIS WITH A NEW TEAM

Managing the COVID-19 crisis presented a significant challenge for Marion. Her unit was responsible for state guarantees, and she had to navigate this with a completely new team, with a 62% change rate due to retirements. She tackled this by maintaining confidence and professionalism, keeping the big picture in mind despite daily changes in guidelines and schemes. Marion’s ability to keep her team motivated and focused during such a turbulent time demonstrates her resilient and adaptive leadership style.

MARION ON EMBRACING EMPATHY AND TEAMWORK

Marion actively supports the next generation of leaders through mentoring programs, coaching, training, and feedback sessions. She finds the balance between being part of her team and being respected as a leader crucial. Her happiest moment as a leader was managing the COVID crisis with her new team, where everyone thought outside the box and supported each other.
