MARION AS A LEADER

I see leadership as an opportunity to influence and inspire. My success comes from the happiness I feel in my roles and the impact I make on othersโ€™ growth. Balancing family life with professional ambitions, I aim to exemplify resilience and adaptability. I strive to create an environment where open communication and personal growth are encouraged, helping individuals navigate their development paths effectively.

Leadership is not giving instructions.

Great Leaders provide advice & support so you can find your own solution.

The future of leadership is to be more empathetic and human centric.

When I think of a leader, I think of Chris Norman & Denise Chong, both great leaders whom I worked for at Johnson & Johnson.

MARION ON OVERCOMING CHALLENGES AS A YOUNG LEADER

Marion became a senior leader at a very young age, facing the challenge of inexperience. With time and coaching, she learned the true responsibilities of leadership, which included reflecting on her actions and questioning her perspectives. Her journey involved working closely with team members, helping them grow so she wouldn't be needed anymore. This approach allowed her to develop a deep understanding of leadership, turning her initial inexperience into a strength through continuous learning and adaptation.

MARION ON SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS

Marion is committed to nurturing future leaders by sharing her experiences and insights. She tutors at a university, contributing to the development of students by offering practical advice and mentorship. Her blog serves as a platform to inspire and educate those with less experience, encouraging them to learn from her journey. Marion believes in the importance of investing in the next generation, much like the elders in tribal communities who pass on their wisdom. She actively engages with students, providing interviews and guidance for their theses, ensuring that they have the support they need to succeed.
