Her journey from hospitality to media and eventually to founding "Luxury with Lara" and "Arab FashionPreneur" demonstrates her dedication to following her passion and adapting to new challenges. Lara's initiatives in the fashion industry aim to connect startups and established companies, fostering collaboration and shared resources.
My advice to aspiring leaders is to work hard, have a goal, have a dream, have a passion. Do not give up. It is never easy; there is no such thing as an easy ride. You will succeed if you put your heart and soul into achieving your dream. A leader needs to be passionate and have their own conviction about what they are doing.
LARA ON WORK LIFE BALANCE
Lara Tabet maintains work-life balance by clearly separating her work from her personal life. When at work, she focuses entirely on her tasks, and when with family and friends, they get her full attention. She took a six-year sabbatical to focus on her children when they were young and shifted her career to television and media, which allowed for more manageable hours than her previous career in the hotel industry.
