BILGE AS A LEADER
Success is engaging others, whether employees or clients, through a give-and-take philosophy and bold actions.
Leadership is not me first.
Great Leaders listen.
The future of leadership is feminine.
When I think of a leader, I think of inetgrity.
SLOWING DOWN AND FOCUSING ON HUMAN ABILITIES LIKE EMPATHY AND ENVISIONING A FUTURE WHERE MACHINES LACK ABILITY.

BILGE ON CREATING A SUPPORTIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT
Bilge believes in fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. As the CEO of Shake Up the Workplace, she prioritizes cross-cultural growth and simplifies complex human and technical challenges. She actively mentors and supports the next generation of leaders by offering help and guidance to anyone who seeks it. Her initiatives include holding the groundbreaking "unconference" at Kunsthaus Zurich, which brought together 200 changemakers to discuss difficult workplace topics amidst valuable art pieces. By creating spaces for open dialogue and innovation, Bilge demonstrates her commitment to building a better future for her team and the broader community.
BILGE ON ENTREPRENEURIAL PARENTING
Bilge’s journey as an entrepreneur and mother has taught her the importance of balancing work and family life. When she was pregnant with her second child, she began seeing a psychologist as a precaution to manage the mental and physical challenges. Bilge emphasizes the importance of slowing down and refusing to conform to the superwoman stereotype. She has accepted earning less to ensure her well-being and that of her family. This approach has allowed her to manage her responsibilities effectively, maintain her mental health, and set a realistic example for others in similar situations.
INCLUDING ALL TEAM MEMBERS IN MY JOURNEY, BEING TRANSPARENT, AND SETTING EXPECTATIONS MAKES ME A BETTER LEADER.
