ALEXANDRIA AS A LEADER
Alexandria's leadership philosophy emphasizes empathy, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. She believes leadership is not about knowing everything or making perfect decisions but about enabling others, listening, and involving experts. By questioning the status quo and building diverse communities, she aims to create a more inclusive and equitable work environment.
Leadership is not telling people what to do.
Great leaders understand that their teams are smarter than them.
The future of leadership is intersectional.
When I think of a leader, I think of people choosing to act as a leader in every interaction.
LEADERSHIP IS ENABLING OTHERS, IT'S LISTENING, IT'S INVOLVING EXPERTS AND THAT IS WHAT ENABLES GOOD DECISIONS.

ALEXANDRIA ON OVERCOMING PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGES
Alexandria faced significant obstacles in her career, particularly in the male-dominated finance industry. Coming from a single-parent background with a migration history, she often found doors closed to her. However, her determination and creativity led her to build communities that mentor and support people from diverse backgrounds, opening doors for those who face similar challenges.
ALEXANDRIA ON MENTORSHIP AND INTERSECTIONAL FEMINISM
Alexandria created "futura," the first intersectional feminist network in fintech, which includes leadership training, diverse succession planning, and onboarding programs for new leaders. She mentors several new leaders and has successfully encouraged others to step into leadership roles, fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
THE BEST LEADERSHIP ADVICE I'VE RECEIVED SO FAR: YOUR COMPASSION IS ONE OF YOUR BIGGEST ASSETS, NEVER PUSH IT ASIDE.
